Big TV offers:
1. Big TV announced special offer for LG 29 inch TV buyers. In this offer, one can pay only Rs 700 (instead of Rs 1,490).
2. Big TV offers 10 Hindi and 10 regional movies per month as part of its pay-per-view services to its subscribers. These services are on offer for Rs 50 per month to get 24 x 7 access to these 20 channels while the English flicks are priced at Rs 60 per film. The movie library is updated every 15 days.
3. Big TV is now offering multi-dwelling unit (MDU) installation service across India. The company is targeting a market share of 40% in the MDU segment within the first year of operations. Through MDU, one can provide DTH services to multiple households through single dish antenna. The cost of hardware will be borne by BIG TV. Each household participating in the scheme gets one STB as a part of BIG TV`s MDU scheme.

1. Big TV DTH service of Reliance Communications crossed 10 lakh subscriber mark within the 90 days of launch. Big TV of Reliance Communications is now the fastest growing DTH player in India.
2. Big TV will launch 15-20 High Definition TV channels by June, 2009.
3. Big TV already completed more than 5,000 MDU installations across India.
4. Big TV setup DTH service in the premises of the base camp of the Nehru Institute of Mountaineering (NIM) situated at 15,317 ft above sea level in the Mt. Everest.
5. Big TV is the number one DTH player in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
6. Big TV is now offering more than 200 channels and 600 new movies every year.
7. It now offers 32 pay-per-view (PPV) channels in English, Hindi and regional channels.

i buy big tv dth service on november 5 2009.the service is satisfied,but the USB fortel is not worked.what is i do now?

My BIG TV STB situation got worse ….my STB2 restarts every second not able to view anything . i am going to throw STB in sewage…its totaly waste of time wiht bigTV …hera after i am going to not to recommend BIG TV to anyone. service men said it is software problem but still they could not solve my problem. for this they charged me 175rs…how can they charge me 175rs for the prblem for which they are responsible….if they ask me to 850rs for STB replacement then i would pour some ACID into STB2 and give it to service man now i will ask him to replace it. why should i pay something that i dont own. somebody recommend me any good DTH provider
i was happy earlier with dishtv as that provide wide range of al a carte packs that were cheaper than other provider . now they have changed ther packs .only few option r left eo choose n they also cant .provide what u want….like i wanted english movie pack n i got only star somy pix n zee studio , no hbo n wb.also they dont have bindass ……..i feel like got stuck…..

My In laws & all the relative have Big TV
All brands of dth settop boxes are around 350 to 400 rupees,which they dont have high quality and long life.once they instatalled the settop boxes that remains the property of the dth company.and coustomer is not owener of the settop box and antenna.Dth company provides services on rental basis only. If any problem or repair occour in the settop box the coustomer have to pay similar to the price of new connection.Because of the competition the dth companies in India are to catchup the new coustomers at low price like 990 rs,how can we get a quality service..? Every coustomer will have to pay around 1000 rs for this low quality settop boxes in every 3 or 4 years..it means the dth provider would not get any loss..
