Videocon DTH dethroned Airtel Digital TV to become the fastest growing DTH company in India in April-June quarter. Videocon D2H added 7.47 lakh subscribers in April-June quarter. Videocon DTH also added 12 high definition (Real HD) TV channels in this quarter.  Videocon DTH is providing 300 channels and services to its subscribers. Videocon is also using advanced MPEG – 4 DVBS -2 technology. Videocon launched DTH services in April, 2009 and has 9% market share.
