Airtel DTH: Needs to improve service

 I went through your post named “airtel dth prize” on http://www.indiadth.in/ and couldn’t help but empathize with you. I have to say that their customer care is not poor but NON-EXISTENT. I want to share my experience with their so called customer care service with you.  I wished to give an airtel dth and had some doubts regarding their connection. So I contacted their customer care (1800 102 8080). But even after 30 minutes of perseverance I couldn’t talk to a customer care executive. Every time I dial that number a recorded voice promptly says it will direct me to a customer care executive but that never happened in all my umpteen attempts! I was very much shocked. And I got so frustrated that I decided not to get their connection.   After doing a little research on net I found that’s the case with most of the customers. That’s how I found your site. Now I feel I’m better off without their service. My email has more to do with their attitude than anything else. I know Airtel is a well-to-do company and it is within their ability to provide at least a decent customer care. I’m also aware that service can go down for a while due to technological or other reason. If that is the case shouldn’t they at least have the courtesy to inform their customers (who took them where they are now!) about the problem in their service? I mean how hard it is to add another sentence in their automated voice message briefing the difficulty? Even before getting a connection I had to go through hardship, and then imagine my plight after giving one!
