Indian DTH players are depending on Bollywood stars to build their brand image among Indian viewers. Tata Sky recently appointed Aamir Khan as brand ambassador while Dish TV and Big TV are using Shahrukh Khan and Abhishek Bachchan as brand ambassadors respectively. South Indian heavy weight Sun Direct is betting big on South Indian film stars. Hrithik Roshan will be grabbed by either D2H+ (Videocon) or Airtel DTH service. So Bollywood stars will be going on fight on DTH turf also.  Dish TV is the number one DTH player in India while Tata Sky is in the second place. Sun Direct is the number one DTH player in South India. Bollywood rivals Aamir Khan and Sharukh Khan get another turf to prove their popularity.
